Bearing this in mind, our organization operates under a trauma-informed and person-centered approach that embraces key principles: safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. These principles serve as guiding forces in our mission to empower youth and their families, while fostering personal well-being.
Our aim is to establish connections between our diverse community and the environmental sector, nurturing a deep appreciation and reverence for the environment and the wildlife that inhabits it. Through our efforts, we strive to build bridges that foster a genuine love and respect for nature.
Rocky Creek has been awarded the highest level of accreditation by CARF. CARF International, originally established in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, is a nonprofit, independent accrediting body for various health and human service sectors, including Child and Youth Services. By granting accreditation, CARF supports service providers in their journey to enhance service quality, showcase value, and adhere to internationally recognized organizational and program standards.
The accreditation process involves the application of comprehensive standards to service areas and business practices through an on-site survey. However, accreditation is not a one-time event; it is an ongoing process that signifies a service provider's unwavering dedication to continuous improvement, soliciting feedback, and serving the community. Furthermore, accreditation serves as evidence of a provider's commitment to optimizing performance, managing risks, and distinguishing itself through exemplary service delivery.
